Research Task-History of IPC Media

IPC (International Publishing Corporation) is an owned subsidiary of The Times Warner Company. It is a consumer magazine and digital publisher in the UK.

IPC Media produces over 60 media brands, reaching almost two thirds of UK women and 42% of UK men – almost 26 million UK adults – while their websites reaches over 20 million users every month.
IPC focuses both its print and digital media on three core audiences: men, mass market women and upmarket women. Their men's portfolio (IPC Inspire) comprises of leisure brands including Country LifeHorse & Hound,Rugby World and Decanter, as well as lifestyle brands including NutsMousebreaker and NME
Their mass market women's division (IPC Connect) comprises  women's weeklies including LookNow,Chat and Woman; TV entertainment brands including What's on TVTVTimes and TV & Satellite Week and, online, the goodtoknow network. Their upmarket women's division (IPC Southbank) comprises fashion brands including Marie Claire andInStyle, lifestyle brands including woman&home and essentials and home interest brands including Ideal Home,Livingetc and housetohome.
