Stimulating ideas for the cover.

These are some examples of the cover shot I would like for my magazine where the connotations are sophistication and beauty. I want to use a black and white image for the front as I feel it would not only suit the style of the magazine but also the colour scheme.

These were I felt too simplistic and the lighting was poor creating this ornage tint which I didn't want. Moreover there is a lack of interest generated by these images.

These I feel are far better, the light remains a bit too harsh but the style and feel of the images are right.

The compostion of this image is lovely and the soft natural light captures that studio shot feel.

STRONGEST IMAGE:
This is I belive the strongest image as it engages with the viewer and encapsulates the style and essense of my magazine.

This is one of the weakest images as the lighting and postioning seem quite sinister.

This image is very interesting and engaging and the mise-en-scene helps to create a persona.

These last images I took for additional stories or articles which again I like as they are simplistic and engaging at the same time.

These are the photos I took for my magazine, I wanted to keep them black and white as I want to get that fashion magazine look.
