Draft of Front Cover

This is my draft of a front cover. I wanted to create something that looked almost like a fashion magazine and so would appeal to my intented audience. I didn't want it too cluttered and so used an image that would keep the cover stories all to one side. The colour scheme I think works perfectly , not only to appeal to my intented audience but also to connotate a passion for music. Feedback told me that the date and price is perhaps too far from the edge and I would want to change the font, in addition to this I might want to seperate the cover stories more or else they tend to look as though they are all in the same article.  For this I could draw a small line under each title as is done on Q magazine. Finally the barcode is slightly too large, I could perhaps use a smaller, slimmer barcode. Generally I think this, as a frist draft works well.
